IDF Attacks Hamas Post in Response to Border Arson

Jerusalem, 22 May, 2018 (TPS) -- An IDF tank fired shells at a Hamas watch-post in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday after  several Gazans infiltrated the border earlier and set fire to an abandoned IDF post.

An IDF spokesperson said no one was hurt in the incident.

Palestinian media said the perpetrators made it safely back into Gaza.

In a separate incident,  IDF forces identified a  drone that crossed into Israel from the northern Gaza Strip .The drone was taken for inspection.
