Police foil Jerusalem stabbing attack

Jerusalem, 15 August, 2018 (TPS) -- Israel Police officers on patrol in Jerusalem foiled a terror attack last week when they arrested a Hebron resident carrying a knife and tear gas, a police spokesperson revealed  Wednesday. The 26-year old male was arrested in Jerusalem’s Old City on August 8 after arousing the officers’ suspicions. Police said details of the investigation were under a gag order, but that the man, who entered Israel illegally,  had admitted to planning a terrorist attack.
