Border Police arrest Jenin shooter

A joint Shin Bet, Yamam and Israel Border Police operation in the Palestinian-controlled town of Yabad has led to the arrest of a 30-year-old terrorist responsible for shooting and wounding a female border police officer in April. The officer was injured during the demolition process of a home in Jenin, which belonged to one of the terrorists who carried out an attack that killed Rabbi Raziel Shevach in Havat Gilad in January this year. The officers came under attack in Jenin while demolishing the home. The terrorist, identified as Taar Jaradath, was arrested and found to have been in possession of an M4 automatic assault rifle. He is the third person to be arrested in connection with the Jenin shooting.
