Joint Israel-US stamp

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of US-Israel diplomatic relations, Israel Post and the US Postal Service issued a joint stamp for Hanukkah, October 16, at the American Center in Jerusalem. The event was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman; Minister of Communications Ayoob Kara; and Israel Post CEO Danny Goldstein. The event took place concurrently with the US stamp dedication ceremony at the historic Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island, the oldest synagogue in the United States.
