Jerusalem, 13 August, 2018 (TPS) --

The next round of conflict with Hamas is  a question of “when, not if,” Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Monday during a visit to the IDF’s Gaza Division. Accompanied by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Gadi Eisenkot, Liberman said that since the beginning of the March of Return – Palestinian riots along the Gaza border – on March 30,  Hamas had lost 168 operatives with 4,348 wounded and massive damage to terrorist infrastructure.

“I am certain that we will do what needs to be done,” Liberman said. “We are conducting a responsible security policy. A responsible security policy is not beholden to talkbacks, newspaper headlines or public opinion. We are prepared and we know what to do and how to do it.”
