Technion and Hebrew University among world’s leading universities

Shanghai Ranking’s 2018 Academic Ranking of World Universities has placed Israel’s Technion 77th among the world’s 100 leading universities, as well as the Hebrew University in Jerusalem at 95th place. In last year’s ranking, the Technion was placed at 93, with Hebrew University not placing in the top 100. The world’s top ranking university for both years is Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
