Soldier Reported an Attempted Stabbing in Tel Aviv, Police Conclude not Terror-Related

Jerusalem, 15 March, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- An IDF soldier claimed that stabbing attack was attempted against him near the Sdeh Dov military base in Tel Aviv shortly after 12:30. The police concluded that the incident was not terror-related and that the suspect was possibly a homeless man who quarrelled with the soldier.
According to the soldier, a suspect driving a car approached the soldier at a bus station at a nearby junction, spoke with him and then drew a knife. He said he escaped and was not hurt, and that the terrorist fled the scene by car.
