IDF: Shots Fired Towards Military Outpost in Metula

Jerusalem, 20 July, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- An IDF spokesperson said that shots were fired this morning at an IDF outpost in the area of Metula on Israel’s northern border. The IDF soldier was examined by military doctors when shrapnel from one bullet hit his dog tag. It is suspected that the shooting came from a stray bullet. The IDF is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
