Police Cracks Down on Arab-Israeli Knesset Party on Fund Fraud Suspicions

Jerusalem, 18 September, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- Israel Police cracked down Sunday morning on the Arab-Israeli Knesset party Balad on suspicion of corruption. Over 20 suspects were arrested in various parts of the country, including senior Balad figures and activists, lawyers and accountants, for suspected involvement in a series of offenses involving money that was received and used to fund the party.
