Palestinian Woman With Knife Arrested in Samaria

Jerusalem, 18 September, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- An attempted stabbing attack was reported shortly before noon on Sunday near the community of Itamar in Samaria, following a weekend of terror attacks by Palestinians.
Initial reports indicated that an Israeli security force in the nearby Gid’onim area notice a suspicious Palestinian and attempted to inspect her. She attempted to escape, and while fleeing threw a knife in the direction of the security force. No Israelis were reported to be injured.
The woman was arrested and taken for questioning, under suspicion of planning to carry out a stabbing attack.
