Two Soldiers Hurt in Shooting Attack near Beit El

Jerusalem, 31 October, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- A shooting attack towards an IDF guard post was reported shortly after 5 p.m. near Ramallah and Beit El, north of Jerusalem, the IDF has confirmed.
According to initial details a Palestinian fired shots toward the post, hitting and injuring two soldiers. One soldier was shot in the thigh and seriously injured, and is being evacuated to a hospital by helicopter. Another soldier suffered light injuries caused by shrapnel in his face. Both were treated at the scene by Magen David Adom medics.
Forces pursued the terrorist and reportedly shot and killed him.
