Israelis Pray on the First Day of the Hebrew Month of Tammuz

Jerusalem, 7 July, 2024 (TPS) -- Special additional prayers are added to the regular prayer services on the first day of a new Hebrew month. On Sunday people celebrated the first of the Hebrew month of Tamuz.

Here. people can be seen holding morning prayers at the ruins of the ancient city of Susya, near Hebron.
