Defense Minister Yoav Gallant Was Fired By Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Jerusalem, 5 November, 2024 (TPS) -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Tuesday night fired his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. In a video that the Prime Minister released this evening to the Israeli public, he explained that the dismissal of Defense Minister Gallant was due to what he said a loss of trust between himself and Gallant. He also charged that there were “gaps” between the government’s policies for conducting the war in Gaza and Gallant’s actions.
