Azerbaijan University Establishes New Scientific Journal

Jerusalem, 3 March, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (Azertac) — By the decision of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan University, a new scientific journal, Paradigma, has been established.

The university told AZERTAC that the aim of the journal, intended for master’s and doctoral students, is to offer young researchers a platform to present their results to the scientific community. The journal is multidisciplinary, covers many scientific fields, and will be published four times a year.

With this, the number of scientific journals at the university has reached three.

Founded in 1997, Silk Road is a scientific journal that publishes peer-reviewed articles reflecting the results of scientific research in the field of finance and economics. The journal, which is included in the list of periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the publication of the main results of dissertations in the Republic of Azerbaijan, is also included in indexing databases such as “Index Copernicus”, “Erih PLUS” and“E-library” (RSCI).

Founded in 2023, Social Issues is a peer-reviewed social sciences journal dedicated to theories, methods, and their applications. The journal accepts articles from various areas of the social sciences, including sociology, cultural anthropology, ethnography, social geography, cultural studies, social policy, sociolinguistics and social history, and gender studies, as well as articles on social work and social work education.
