Azerbaijan Neutralizes 132 Mines and 683 Unexploded Ordnance

Jerusalem, 26 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) has announced information on the mine clearance operations carried out by organizations involved in mine clearance activities in the liberated territories from May 19 to May 25.

ANAMA told AZERTAC that during mine clearance operations conducted last week in Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavend, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan, 80 anti-personnel mines, 52 anti-tank mines and 683 unexploded ordnance were detected and neutralized.

Over the past week, 1,795.7 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
