Israeli Forces Continue Crackdown on Palestinian Terror Funding
Jerusalem, 28 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Israeli security forces conducted a second consecutive day of operations targeting terror-linked funds across Judea and Samaria, seizing over NIS 7 million (nearly $2 million) and arresting 30 wanted individuals, the Israel Defense Forces said on Wednesday.
Forces confiscated cash in various currencies, including hundreds of thousands of shekels, tens of thousands of U.S. dollars and Jordanian dinars, thousands of euros, and gold valued at roughly $1.75 million. Weapons and a range of equipment such as computing devices, safes, banknote counters, and office supplies were also seized.
The detained suspects and confiscated assets were transferred to security authorities for further investigation.
According to Palestinian reports, raids took place in Ramallah, Hebron, Shechem (Nablus), and Tubas.
Since the start of the war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Israeli forces have confiscated around 30 million shekels ($8.5 million) in terror funds across Judea and Samaria, as part of a broader campaign to dismantle the financial infrastructure of terror organizations.
Of the 6,000 wanted Palestinian terror suspects arrested in Judea and Samaria since October 7, 2023, more than 40% are affiliated with Hamas according to IDF figures.
