Azerbaijani Emergency Teams Contain Mountain Fires, Battle Continues Elsewhere

Jerusalem, 27 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – Fires that broke out in mountainous areas with complex relief in the Agdam and Fuzuli regions have been completely extinguished by the forces of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told AZERTAC that firefighting measures are currently being continuously carried out in the villages of Yenikend in the Khojavend region, Boyuk Galadara in the Shusha region, Ashagi Yemishjan in the Khojaly region, Talish in the Aghdara region, and Tapgaragoyunlu in the Goranboy region.

State Fire Protection Service, Special Risk Rescue Service, Civil Defense troops, forces of the Karabakh Regional Center, and helicopters from the Aviation Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are also participating in the fire extinguishing operation.
