GDP in Azerbaijan Increased by 1 Percent

Jerusalem, 10 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan produced 83.37 billion manats ($49.04 billion) of gross domestic product, or 1 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.

The State Statistics Committee told AZERTAC that value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.1 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 2.6 percent.

34.9 percent of GDP production was accounted for by industry, 10.3 percent by trade; repair of vehicles, 7.1 percent by transport and warehousing, 6.3 percent by agriculture, forestry and fishing, 6.3 percent by construction, 2.8 percent by tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.8 percent by information and communication, and 20.7 percent by other sectors. Net taxes on products and imports accounted for 9.8 percent of GDP.

GDP per capita was 8,111.3 manats ($4,770).
