Azerbaijani Judokas Advance to Finals of Islamic Solidarity Games

Jerusalem, 9 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Riyadh (AZERTAC) – Two Azerbaijani judokas reached the finals of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

AZERTAC reports that Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kilograms) and Sudaba Agayeva (70 kilograms) have qualified for the decisive match.

Aytac Gardashkhanli (70 kilograms), Gunel Hasanli (78 kilograms), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kilograms) and Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kilograms) will compete for the bronze medal.

Azerbaijani judokas won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals on Saturday.
