NATO Mobile Training Group Holds Course in Baku
Jerusalem, 19 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – In accordance with the “Individual Partnership Cooperation Program” between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and NATO for 2025, a course on “Learning from Experiences” is being held by the Mobile Training Group of the Joint Forces Command located in Brunssum, Kingdom of the Netherlands, which is visiting Azerbaijan.
AZERTAC was informed about this by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that, speaking at the opening of the course, Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev, Chief of the Main Operations Department of the Ministry of Defense, welcomed the guests and participants and spoke about the importance of such events held to expand military cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO, and specifically noted that our military personnel have successfully applied the experience they have gained in recent years in their service activities.
Then, the trainers provided the audience with general information about NATO. They also provided briefings on various areas related to NATO’s staff structure, experiences gained in the exercises and operations conducted.
The international event, held at the War Games Center of the National Defense University, will include theoretical and practical training on operational planning and management in NATO, as well as other topics.
