10-Year-Old Azerbaijani Girl Takes Triple Medal Haul in Prague Chess Tournament

Jerusalem, 19 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Elmira Valiyeva, a 10-year-old Azerbaijani girl who lives in Prague, won three medals at the “Prague Youth Championship 2026” classical chess tournament.

AZERTAC reports that she won gold medals in both the under-12 and under-14 girls’ competitions.

Valiyeva also took second place among participants under 16.
