Baku Expands Inclusive Education Network to 41 Schools
Jerusalem, 22 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – A total of 267 students were involved in inclusive education in Baku.
The Baku City Education Department (BCD) told AZERTAC that 11 schools have been added to the network of general education institutions with inclusive classes starting from the 2025-2026 academic year.
The number of schools with inclusive classes under the BST has been increased to 41. In the 2025-2026 academic year, 122 students with disabilities were enrolled in inclusive classes.
Inclusive education allows children with partial disabilities to study in the same classroom as healthy children. The project serves the goal of achieving a more comfortable integration of these children into society.
