Registration for the 10 km Garmin and 5 km FIB Mass Run distances, as well as for the HONOR Together Relay Run 2?21 km, will continue until the end of September or until the respective quotas are exhausted.

The starts of the short distances 5 km and 10 km are scheduled for Saturday, October 10, and the participants in the classic marathon, half marathon and relay will stand shoulder to shoulder on the streets of Sofia on October 11 (Sunday).

The international presence of the Wizz Air Sofia Marathon 2026 is also growing significantly. Over 1,400 runners from 65 countries have already registered to participate in the race, which is the result of the targeted international campaign and the opening of registration at the beginning of the year.

Together with thousands of Bulgarian runners, they will run through the streets of Sofia, turning the sporting event into a kind of live tourist tour of the capital. The route passes by a number of iconic places and architectural and cultural landmarks that tell the history of the city and present its cultural heritage.
