Baku High School Student Takes ‘Fuzzy Logic’ Research to International Stage
Jerusalem, 28 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – Turan Safarli, a 10th grade student at Nariman Narimanov Secondary School No. 248 in the Binagadi district of Baku, spoke at the XIV World Conference on “Intelligent Systems for Industrial Automation” (WCIS-2026) held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
AZERTAC reports that a Baku schoolboy presented his research on “fuzzy logic” at the international scientific event. Fuzzy logic is a form of mathematical reasoning that allows computers and intelligent systems to handle uncertainty and degrees of truth, rather than relying solely on binary true-or-false decisions.
The conference serves as an international platform for discussing scientific research, new approaches and research results in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and industrial automation.
The WCIS World Conference is organized by the International Association for Artificial Intelligence with the initiative and support of Professors Lutfi Zade and Rafig Aliyev. The conference, which has been held every two years since 2000, is dedicated to discussing scientific research in the fields of application of intelligent systems in industrial automation, artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic. Professor Rafig Aliyev also has important services in developing the scientific heritage of the founder of fuzzy logic theory, world-famous scientist Lutfi Zade and expanding research in this field.
Turan Safarli’s presentation of an article at an international scientific conference is important in terms of involving schoolchildren in scientific research, developing their intellectual potential, and encouraging their interest in research in the field of artificial intelligence.
