Teenager Stabbed in Afula; Terror Suspected

Jerusalem, 11 June, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Afula police arrested a 30-year-old Palestinian Monday on suspicion he stabbed an 18-year-old woman in the city earlier in the day.

Police said that officers arrested the suspect as he fled the scene.

“When we arrived at the scene we found an 18-year-old girl sitting on a chair at the entrance of  a store,” said Shimi Farji, one of the paramedics who responded to the call. “She was conscious and had several stab wounds in the upper part of her body. We gave her life-saving first aid to stop the bleeding and evacuated her to the nearby HaEmek Medical Center.”

Hospital officials said the victim was listed in critical condition and said she had lost a lot of blood.
