Jerusalem, 5 July, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Homeland Security Minister Gilad Erdan spoke to the Ynet News website on Thursday, following several light earthquakes in Israel’s northern region. According to Erdan, should a large scale earthquake occur, as is expected to happen in the region about once a century, Israel is not prepared for such a scenario.

“There is a high probability that once every 90 years, there will be a big earthquake,” said Erdan, “It may happen, and we are unequivocally unprepared,” he added.
