Jerusalem, 26 September, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Eight Israeli travelers, who were stranded in a blizzard near Manali in northern India for the past week and a half, were rescued on Wednesday, with the help on the Indian Military.
Ten additional Israelis are still stranded in the Himalayan village of Kaza, as well as several more in another village, who have yet to be successfully contacted due to the collapse of power infrastructure in the area. The Israeli Foreign Ministry and the rescue companies ask that they remain where they are until the storm calms down.
