IDF sends reinforcements to Gaza border

Jerusalem, 4 October, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot ordered that reinforcements be sent to the Gaza border and remain there for the coming days. The decision was made following a security situation assessment which included commanders from the IDF and Shin Bet.
“The IDF is ready and prepared for a wide range of scenarios, and holds Hamas responsible for all actions taking place in or emanating from the Gaza Strip,” the IDF Spokesperson said in a statement.
