Incendiary balloon found in Hevel Modi’in

Jerusalem, 9 October, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- The Israel Police has confirmed that a an incendiary balloon was found on Tuesday afternoon in the Hevel Modi’in Regional Council in central Israel after being caught in tree branches.
Police cordoned off the area and sappers arrived at the scene to neutralize any threat the balloon posed.
Aerial arson attacks launched from Gaza in recent months have burned down thousands of acres of farmland and forests and caused extensive economic damages.
