Corruption Case Involving High Court Justices Explodes

Jerusalem, 16 January, 2019 (TPS) -- A shocking corruption case, which has been rocking Israel’s law establishment in recent days, exploded on Wednesday when a police investigation into the suspicions moved from the covert to the overt phase.

Most of the details of the investigation are still banned for publication, but it involves corruption surrounding the appointment of judges.

Several judges, Justice Department officials and members of the  Judges Appointment Committee have been questioned by the police’s Lahav 443 Unit.

Several arrests have been made.
