Jerusalem’s Police Arrest 5 Arabs for Attacks on Jews

Jerusalem, 30 June, 2021 (TPS-IL) -- Jerusalem’s police arrested on Tuesday night five Arabs who were in the process of attacking Jews or the police forces.
In the Shimon HatZadik (Sheikh Jarrah) neighborhood, dozens of Arabs rioted, threw rocks at police forces, and launched fireworks at the Jews’ homes.
One Jew was lightly injured in his hands from the fireworks.
The police arrested four of the rioters and dispersed the others with crowd control means.
The Shimon HatZadik neighborhood has been the site of nightly attacks by Arabs on Jews.
In the neighborhood of Shiloach (Silwan) below the Old City, some 100 Arabs rioted and attacked forces in the area. An undercover unit was successful in arresting a rioter, one of the leaders, as he was launching fireworks at the forces.
