Breaking News: Attempted Stabbing in Samaria; Terrorist Neutralized
Jerusalem, 2 April, 2018 (TPS) -- 17:39 There are initial reports of an attempted stabbing car the Teena Crossing Samaria.
17:41 The would-be terrorist has been shot and neutralised. There are no reports yet about his condition.
17:48 Initial reports indicate that the terrorist ignored warnings by a defense ministry security guard to halt. The security guard opened fire as the man ran towards a group of Israelis.
18:02 The terrorist received first aid from Magen David Adom medics and is being evacuated to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.
17:28 The defense ministry said in a statement that a Palestinian man aroused suspicion at the Te’enim Checkpoint, near Tulkarm, when he approached the automobile lane on foot. Security guards at the checkpoint ordered him to halt but instead began running towards them. The guards repeated their warnings for him to stop and eventually shot him in his lower body. The terrorist was treated at the scene .
17:29 The terrorist’s condition has been downgraded from “moderate” to “serious.” He is reportedly in an induced coma and connected to life-support.
