800 Palestinian Terror Suspects Arrested in Judea and Samaria Since War, Says Israel

Jerusalem, 23 October, 2023 (TPS) -- Since the beginning of the Gaza war, Israeli security forces have arrested more than 800 wanted Palestinian terror suspects in Judea and Samaria, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday.

Of those, 500 were associated with Hamas.

On Sunday night, security forces arrested about 64 wanted persons, including 37 Hamas operatives.

During an arrest raid in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah, Palestinians threw explosives and stones at soldiers who responded with riot dispersal measures. Soldiers seized weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices, and other military equipment. Hamas flags were also confiscated.

Other counter-terror raids took place in the areas of Bethlehem and Shechem (Nablus).
