8th International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA Is Biggest Since 2010

The eighth edition of the mega-exhibition, which brings together the international specialized exhibitions AGRA, Vinaria and FoodTech, marks an increase in participants and new industry segments, said Ivan Sokolov, Director General of International Fair Plovdiv. This year’s edition, which was unveiled on Tuesday, is the largest since 2010, featuring manufacturers and distributors from over 170 sectors.

More than 600 exhibitors from over 25 countries will take part, representing all scientific and practical areas of agriculture – technology, machinery, products, innovations, services and more.

Todor Dzhikov, caretaker Deputy Minister of Agriculture, noted that during these few days in Plovdiv food producers, farmers and other industry representatives will meet to exchange their knowledge, experience and vision. He said that Vinaria will put Bulgaria back at the forefront of the world’s wine producers.

The forum will continue until Saturday.
