Abu Dahbi Media Conference Aims For ‘Boom’ In Media Sector
Jerusalem, 9 November, 2022 (TPS-IL) -- The Tazpit Press Service (TPS) will be present at next week’s Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi.
The three-day convention will be attended by 1,200 journalists, publishers and media executives from around the world. Additionally, 170 news services from 29 different countries will be represented.
The conference is organized by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM). Events will focus on issues such as content creation, consumer behavior, artificial intelligence and forecasting media trends.
The conference — the first in what is hoped will be an annual event — will enable people in the media industry to network, exchange ideas and explore areas of cooperation.
Among the key events highlighted by the organizers is a special session on the role of the media in consolidating a culture of tolerance.
Mohammed Jalal Al-Rayssi, WAM’s director-general and chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the Global Media Congress, said, “The conference aims to shed light on a group of factors affecting the media sector to achieve a boom in this sector.”
TPS, an international Israeli news agency that operates as a non-profit, works in collaboration with WAM as WAM’s Israel partner, sharing information and news stories with one another.
