Albanian Defense Minister Discusses Cyber Security Cooperation in Israel

Albanian Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi met with Yuli Edeistein, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Policy and Defense in Israel.

Peleshi stated in a post on social media that during this meeting, Israeli officials reconfirmed their desire to continue advancing positive bilateral relations.

Peleshi stressed that Israel is an important ally and partner in defense and security as well as an active member of NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue.

Also, Peleshi met with Gaby Portnoy (Brig Gen ret), Director General of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate.

“We are interested in intensifying our cooperation for cyber security, through the joint exchange of data, the development of Albania’s national capacities, but also in the field of defense”, Peleshi said.
