Authorities Searching for Missing Israeli Shepherd, 14

Jerusalem, 12 April, 2024 (TPS) -- Israeli authorities are searching for a 14-year Binyamin Achimair, who disappeared on Friday morning.

Achimair was tending sheep near the Angels of Peace farm in the Binyamin region. The search began when the sheep he was tending returned to their farm without him.

Search teams are concentrating on the nearby Palestinian villages of Duma and Al Mughayyir.

Three Palestinian terror squads that planned to kidnap shepherds on the farm were arrested recently and local Israeli farmers are calling on security forces to treat the incident as a kidnapping.

Two of the terror cells that were arrested were from the nearby village of Al Mughayyir. The third cell was from the village of Kafr Malik Malek, also in the Binyamin region.

Since October 7, Israeli security forces have arrested more than 3,700 Palestinian terror suspects, of whom 1,600 are Hamas members of Hamas.
