Azerbaijan, Armenia Hold Bilateral Talks to Advance Normalization

Jerusalem, 10 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – On July 10, a meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and various aspects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia interstate normalization agenda were discussed.

The Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told AZERTAC that it was confirmed that bilateral negotiations are the most effective format for resolving all issues related to the normalization process, and on this basis it was agreed to continue such a result-oriented dialogue.

Assessing the achievements made in the border delimitation process, the leaders instructed the relevant state commissions to continue practical work in this direction.

The parties also agreed to continue bilateral negotiations and confidence-building measures between the two countries.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, for the warm hospitality and the organization of the bilateral meeting.
