Azerbaijan Enhances Cybersecurity in Military Units

Jerusalem, 12 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – In order to take preventive measures in the fight against modern threats, comprehensive measures are being implemented in accordance with the annual action plan of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense.

According to the press service of the Ministry, throughout the year, preventive measures are regularly carried out in the main departments, departments and services of the Ministry of Defense, special educational institutions, as well as military units to ensure cybersecurity, protection of state secrets, increasing digital literacy, as well as ensuring information security in the Azerbaijani Army.

During the events, the requirements of the articles of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Secrets”, methods of combating cyber threats and dangers, following the rules for safe use of internet resources – cyber hygiene, ways to protect against cyber attacks, as well as the importance of information security to protect the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information are explained to military personnel, and their questions are answered.
