Azerbaijan National Mini-Football Team Wins International Tournament

Jerusalem, 27 April, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- (AZERTAC) – The Azerbaijani mini-football team, preparing for the World Championship, participated in an international tournament held in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.

AZERTAC reports that in the competition, where the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Montenegro and Kazakhstan competed, our team defeated all its rivals and won the main prize. Our national team member Tamkin Khalilzadeh was awarded the title of the best player of the tournament.

The team will travel to Kosice, Slovakia, to participate in another international tournament. Along with the Azerbaijani team, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belgium, Poland and Hungary will compete in the competition, which will start on April 30. The tournament will conclude on May 1.
