Azerbaijan Wins Four Medals At European Judo Championships

Jerusalem, 19 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Tbilisi (AZERTAC) – Azerbaijani judokas finished the European Senior Championships held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, with four medals.

AZERTAC reports that one of these is a silver award and three are bronze awards.

At the European Championship, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kilograms) took second place, while Ahmad Yusifov (60 kilograms), Turan Bayramov (66 kilograms) and Zelim Tchkayev (81 kilograms) took third place.

The tournament will conclude today.
