Azerbaijani Agricultural Students to Intern in Israel

Doron Peer, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) during his visit to Ganja.

The regional correspondent of AZERTAC informs that Zafar Gurbanov, acting rector of the university, who met with the guest, gave detailed information about the material and technical base of the higher educational institution. It was stated that the rapid development of agricultural education in our country, the educational conditions, the material and technical base and, most importantly, the special attention of the state to this field create great interest in ADAU among the guests of our city and university.

During the meeting, students’ experience and education in Israel and other prospective issues were discussed.

Doron Peer expressed his satisfaction at being at the Agrarian University and welcomed the dynamic development of the higher educational institution.

Then, the interview stage of the candidates applying for participation in the next internship program for young specialists working in the agricultural field of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Israel’s Arava International Agricultural Training Center (AICAT) was organized.

It should be noted that 39 students and graduates of ADAU participated in the first project of the internship program held in Israel. 31 of them successfully completed the project by receiving an international certificate.
