Azerbaijani Army Searching for Servicemen Caught in Avalanche

Jerusalem, 19 March, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – While returning from service in western Azerbaijan’s Gadabay region, two soldiers fell in an avalanche in foggy weather.

Search measures were immediately launched in unfavorable weather conditions and mountainous terrain for Private Hamidov Ruslan Rustam and Private Imanov Ali Tariyel.

Forces, vehicles, and special equipment from the Azerbaijani Army, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the contractor company of the Azerbaijan State Roads Agency are involved in the search and rescue operations.
