Azerbaijani Brothers Dominate Moldovan Kayaking and Canoeing Championship

Jerusalem, 23 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Chisinau (AZERTAC) – The Moldovan Kayaking and Canoeing Championship was held in the city of Belts among athletes in the U14, U16 and U18 age categories. AZERTAC reports that Azerbaijani brothers Eldar and Tamerlan Osmanov won several awards for their successful performances.

Eldar Osmanov won three medals, taking first place in the 500-meter race, second place in the 200-meter race, and third place in the 1,000-meter race.

His brother, Tamerlan, also won three medals, taking second place in the 1,200-meter race, second place in the 500-meter two-person kayak race, and third place in the 500-meter single kayak race.

The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova congratulated the Osmanov brothers on their successful performance.
