Azerbaijani Judoka Qualifies for Final at European Championship

Jerusalem, 4 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Bratislava (AZERTAC) – The European Youth Judo Championship continues in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

AZERTAC reports that on the first day of the competition, Azerbaijani representative Mahammad Musayev reached the semi-final match.

The athlete, competing in the 66-kilogram weight category, advanced to the finals by defeating his Georgian opponent Tornike Gigauri by ippon.

It should be noted that 374 athletes (207 boys, 167 girls) from 42 countries are competing in the continental championship, which will be held until September 7.
