Azerbaijani Wins International Chess Tournament

Jerusalem, 26 February, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) — Azerbaijani chess player Eltaj Safarli won the Indonesia IM Chess Tournament.

The Chess Federation told AZERTAC that Safarli beat all his opponents in the 11-round round-robin competition.

After the victory in the last round, Safarli increased his score to 8.5, securing first place.
