Kidney transplantation is currently the most effective and optimal treatment strategy for patients with chronic kidney disease. After transplantation, patients can return to a completely normal life with certain observations and minor corrections in their lifestyle. Pregnancy follow-up of women who have undergone kidney transplantation is monitored based on special medical protocols.
The Nephrology Department of the medical team led by Dr. Rashad Sholan has extensive clinical experience in this field.
In addition, the first systematic scientific research on pregnancy after kidney transplantation in our country was carried out by Rashad Sholan and his colleagues. The analytical study in question was reported at the TAJEV (“Turkish-German Gynecological Education, Research and Service Foundation”) congresses in 2024 and MESOT (“Middle East Society of Organ Transplantation”) congresses in 2025.
The final scientific results of the study were published in the prestigious journal Experimental and Clinical Transplantation, which is included in international abstracting and indexing databases.
