Azerbaijani Young Rowers Win Medals at Kazakhstan Regatta

Jerusalem, 3 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – Azerbaijani young rowers won medals with a full squad in Kazakhstan.

AZERTAC was informed about this by the Water Sports Federation.

It was reported that all members of our team, who were part of a four-person team that went to the international kayak and canoe regatta dedicated to June 1 – International Children’s Day – in the city of Uralsk, Kazakhstan, took the podium.

Vagif Mustafazadeh and Fakhri Sadiqli, competing in the double canoe, took 3rd place in the 200-meter race. The pair of Sanan Jafarzadeh and Tahir Movsumov, competing in the double kayak, rose to the third step of the podium in the 500-meter race. They were also awarded a silver medal in the 200-meter race.
