Azerbaijan’s Defense Chief Visits Turkey

Jerusalem, 12 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov is on a visit to the Republic of Turkey.

The Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC that within the framework of the visit, the Minister of Defense attended the graduation ceremony of the “Joint Headquarters Management” courses held at the Joint Military Institute of the National Defense University of the Republic of Turkey, as well as the “Headquarters Management” courses held at the Land Forces, Air Force and Navy institutes.

Speaking at the event, President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future careers.

Colonel General Zakir Hasanov presented diplomas to Azerbaijani graduates who successfully completed the courses.

Then, emblems were placed on the symbolic age bar and certificates were presented to the graduates.
