Bulgaria Resumes Postal Shipments To Israel Following Months-Long Suspension

Jerusalem, 18 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Sofia (BTA) – As of May 20, 2026, Bulgarian Posts will resume accepting all types of shipments to Israel, the postal service announced.

From May 18, 2026, Bulgarian Posts has resumed accepting outgoing shipments to Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

BTA recalls that in early March, the company stopped accepting all types of shipments to a number of Middle Eastern countries , including Israel , Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, as the measure was imposed due to canceled airline flights and closed airspace in the region following joint Israeli and US airstrikes against Iran.
